The seventh and the final round of Lok Sabha elections will take place on June 1st. This phase will be covering 57 constituencies across 8 states and UT. The voting will take place in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chandigarh and Punjab. When it comes to Punjab, it is set to witness a multi-cornered fight between the four major parties – the Congress, the AAP, the SAD and the BJP. If we talk about AAP, Punjab is really important for AAP because it is the only state in the assembly, other than Delhi, where it is in power. Recently, Amit Shah had said that “the Bhagwant Mann government will not last long after the BJP’s victory”. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann slammed Amit Shah for this comments.
