Bengaluru was hit by heavy rains late last night, leading to widespread waterlogging across multiple city areas. As a result of the heavy rainfall, low-lying areas, including parts of Koramangala, HSR Layout, and Whitefield, were submerged under knee-deep water, bringing traffic to a standstill and leaving residents stranded. To rescue the stranded citizens, JCBs and inflatable boats were deployed in severely affected zones. Residents are furious over the city’s mismanagement by the authorities. A local said, "All the people in this area are facing difficulty. It is only in this 200-300 metre radius. There is no proper sewage system here. College, school and workplace, all are affected because of this."
