Ambassador of India to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj addressed the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) in New York on June 01. While speaking at the roundtable she stated the need to review and draft the reforms of the United Nations Security Council regarding sustainability and global peace. The Indian ambassador asserted that the “time for Security Council reform is now,” as the urgency of UNSC reform is also underscored by the unprecedented global challenges that transcend borders.
