Made at a cost of thousands of crores, Mumbai’s coastal road project is an infrastructure marvel that has been built on mega investment and mega sacrifices, especially by Mumbai’s fishermen community i.e the Koli community. The Journey of Mumbai’s fishermen community has not been easy. How has been their journey with the project since the beginning of the project and what did they stand to gain and lose with the project? Mid-day spoke to fishermen and this is what they had to say.
