Constructed at the cost of Rs.18,000 crores, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also known as Atal Setu was inaugurated today by PM Modi. An infrastructure marvel never seen before in India - now a reality for Mumbaikars. This 21.8-kilometre-long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link bridge would help cover the distance between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes which otherwise takes 2 hours. More than 5000 workers and engineers worked every day for the completion of the project since work began in mid-2018. Many of the workers and engineers had to take an hour-long boat ride every day to their work site. MTHL inauguration will take place today in Mumbai by PM Narendra Modi.
