During a recent interaction with the Indian diaspora, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde said that India is progressing rapidly and has become the world’s fourth-largest economy. He added that India is on track to soon become the third-largest. Highlighting the country`s focus on development, Shinde compared India’s growth with Pakistan’s, noting that both countries gained independence in 1947, but have taken very different paths. He said that while India is managing its economy and fighting terrorism, it has remained a peace-loving nation focused on improving the lives of its people.
