Over 90 Kashmiri students evacuated from war-hit Iran under ‘Operation Sindhu’ landed in Delhi today. With no proper reception or flight arrangements, students refused to board the buses arranged for them. Following their protest, former J&K CM Omar Abdullah and the J&K government intervened to arrange better transport. These students had survived missile strikes near their hostels in Iran amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. While grateful for the evacuation, the students are demanding a respectful return home.
