Following the horrific Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government has closed the integrated checkpost at Attari with immediate effect. Pakistani nationals visiting India with valid endorsements have been asked to return via Attari before 1st May 2025. What was meant to be a peaceful family visit turned into a rushed and emotional departure for many. Scenes have emeged from the Attari border of families rushing back to Pakistan cutting short their trip for a  sudden journey back home.
