Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12 made a veiled attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his “democracy” comments in London. “India is not only the largest democracy but is the mother of democracy...it's unfortunate that in London questions were raised about India's democracy...Some people are constantly questioning India's democracy...,” said PM Modi in Hubballi-Dharwad. Opposition Minister and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge responded to this in Rajya Sabha.
