Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on his 1st State Visit to the US on June 20. He will be hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. It will be PM Modi’s first state visit to the United States since he assumed office in 2014. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address a Joint Sitting of the US Congress. During his US visit, he will lead the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga at UN Headquarters in New York on June 21. The Prime Minister will receive a ceremonial welcome at the White House on June 22.
