PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building on May 28 and dedicated it to the nation. The prime minister unveiled the plaque to mark the inauguration of the new Parliament building. Modi also attended a ‘Sarv-dharma’ prayer ceremony at the new Parliament building. The religious leaders of 12 faiths chanted prayers in various languages. Workers who built the new Parliament building were also felicitated at the inaugural event.
