Activist Trupti Desai was detained by police outside the Shani Shingnapur temple in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar District. Desai, along with women volunteers of her outfit Bhumata Ranragini Brigade clashed with local villagers and temple trustees who are staunchly opposed to the entry of women inside the holy sanctorum.
