Twisha Sharma has taken a dramatic new turn in Bhopal as retired judge and mother-in-law Giribala Singh faces mounting legal scrutiny. Police have now issued a third and final notice asking the former judge to record her statement in the dowry harassment case linked to Twisha’s death. Twisha Sharma, 33, was found dead in Bhopal earlier this month. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment, mental torture and physical abuse. WhatsApp chats reportedly revealed that Twisha felt “trapped” in an unhappy marriage. The controversy intensified after Giribala Singh made explosive allegations against Twisha, claiming she was a psychiatric patient and struggled with drug addiction. The former judge also alleged that Twisha ignored household responsibilities, comments that sparked widespread outrage online.
