On Wednesday, 35 people were injured when a tractor trolley overturned in the Ganjdundwara area of Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh. According to officials, the people in the vehicle were returning from the `Ganga Snan` (a religious bathing ritual) when the tractor lost control and flipped over. The injured were immediately taken to the Ganjdundwara Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment. The Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Rajesh Kumar Bharti, confirmed the incident. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported, but several people sustained injuries. This accident is not the first of its kind in the region. In December 2024, 26 people were injured in a separate road accident in Kasganj, where a tractor collided with a pickup truck that was carrying passengers returning from a marriage ceremony. These incidents highlight ongoing road safety concerns in the area.
