Following the scuffle with the Police in the late hours of May 03, the top Wrestlers are now planning to return their medals. While talking to the media on May 04, Wrestler Bajrang Punia asked what will they do with the medals if this is how they are being treated.  “If this is how the wrestlers will be treated, what will we do with the medals? Rather we will live a normal life and return all the medals and awards to the Indian Government,” said Wrestler Bajrang Punia. Meanwhile, heavy security was deployed at the Jantar Mantar area on May 04 after a ruckus broke out late last night between protesting wrestlers and some police personnel. Delhi Police said that DCPs of all districts in Delhi have been asked to be on alert in their districts, especially in the border areas. They said that Police have received inputs that a large number of people can reach Jantar Mantar where the wrestlers are protesting. “I was abused and pushed around by policemen. Where were the women police personnel? If you want to kill us, kill us. Did we win medals for the country to see this day? We have not even eaten our food. Does every man have a right to abuse women? These policemen are holding guns, they can kill us,” said Vinesh Phogat.
