Kabul: At least 33 people have been killed and 147 others injured Thursday when Taliban militants attacked a government compound in Afghanistan, officials said.

Fighting erupted when the Islamic attackers detonated two vehicles loaded with explosives in Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan, the Afghan interior ministry said.
