Kathmandu: At least 98 people died and 129 others were missing in the recent floods and landslides in Nepal, as heavy downpour continued across the country for the fourth day Sunday, the government said.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bam Dev Gautam said distribution of relief has become a herculean task. He said his government has appealed to the Indian government for sending choppers to aid the flood and landslide victims.
