Dawood Ibrahim, the leader of Mumbai-based organised crime syndicate -- D Company and mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, is believed to be living in a posh neighbourhood of Karachin in Pakistan.
A news channel on Wednesday claimed to have located the home of the underworld don in Karachi.

Dawood has been on the run for 23 years since 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, which killed more than 257 people and injured 700 others.
A <a href="http://www.news18.com/news/india/dawood-ibrahims-house-in-karachi-pakistans-lie-exposed-1241645.html" target="_blank">News18 report</a> claimed that they had tracked down Dawood's house in Pakistan and it's D 13, Block 4, Clifton, Karachi.
The information is based on interviews of local Karachiites and alleged bodyguard's of the underworld don. The security guards did not deny that the bungalow belonged to a man named Dawood Ibrahim, while the locals all pointed them in the same direction when asked about Dawood Ibrahim's house.
The sting video showed the house where terror suspect lives from the top. A barricaded bungalow is surrounded on two sides by empty, vacant plots. It is also flanked by a cricket stadium on one side and a wedding &amp; banquet hall on the other. There seems to be mosque inside the compound.
Recently, there were News18 also reported that Dawood was suffering from gangrene, and his legs may even have to be amputated.
The report had further claimed that an immobile Dawood is being treated at his posh residence in Clifton neighbourhood of Karachi, and is being attended to by doctors from Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi, and the Combined Military Hospital, Karachi.
&ldquo;CNN-NEWS18 has secured clinching video evidence of Dawood Ibrahim's presence in Pakistan, a claim denied by Islamabad for 23 long years,&rdquo; the news channel said in a statement released here.&nbsp; The channel reportedly has used two Pakhtun men whose &ldquo;names were withheld for safety reasons&rdquo; to identify Dawood's Karachi-based residence. The location matches with one of the five addresses mentioned by India in its dossier to Pakistan.&nbsp; The channel claimed to have checked all five addresses of Dawood mentioned in India's dossier to Pakistan, &ldquo;Only one of the addresses in Karachi, D-13, Block 4, Clifton, was in a high security zone,&rdquo; it said.&nbsp; &ldquo;Starting at Clifton Marquee, a banquet hall named after the affluent Karachi locality where Dawood lives, the CNN-News18 team stopped every 100 metres, asking about Dawood Ibrahim's house. All those asked pointed to the same address D-13 Block 4 Clifton,&rdquo; the channel said in the statement.&nbsp; &ldquo;They (two Pakhtun men) made four rounds separately from different directions and spotted the house of Dawood Ibrahim. During the third round of recce, they checked about Dawood Ibrahim from a streetside stall,&rdquo; the statement added.&nbsp; The news channel also claimed to have spoken to police officers in Karachi and the security guard at Dawood&rsquo;s mansion, &ldquo;all of whom confirmed that Dawood has been living in Clifton&rdquo;.&nbsp; The channel asserted that its &ldquo;evidence is proof of how Pakistan has sheltered India&rsquo;s most wanted terrorist&rdquo;.&nbsp; &ldquo;CNN-News18 investigation reveals that Dawood&rsquo;s presence in Karachi is common knowledge, which contradicts the constant denial by a series of governments in Pakistan of Dawood&rsquo;s base there,&rdquo; the channel said.
Now in his 60s, Dawood is wanted in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts which claimed over 257 lives, and injured more than 700.&nbsp;One of Dawood&rsquo;s associates, Yakub Memon was hanged in July 2015, while his brother Tiger, also wanted in the case, is still absconding.&nbsp;
