New York: A Florida-based man who shot dead his wife and later posted a photo of the blood-spattered body on the social networking site Facebook has been convicted of second-degree murder, media reported on Thursday.

Thirty-three year old Derek Medina, posted shortly after the gruesome killing in August 2013: “I am going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife. My wife was punching me and I am not going to stand any more with the abuse, so I did what I did."
