Singapore court drops charges of rioting against three Indians

A Singapore court on Monday dropped charges of rioting against three Indians

K. Thirunavukkarasu, G. Ashok Kumar and A. Velmurugan received a discharge amounting to an acquittal, the Straits Times newspaper reported.

The case against seven other alleged rioters was also heard Monday. The prosecution urged the court not to give them bail, citing public safety concerns, the daily said.
