A researcher team has unveiled a near-complete skeleton of Alnashetri cerropoliciensis hidden in the red sandstones of Patagonia in Argentina. Weighing under 1 kg, Alnashetri stands out as one of the smallest non-avian dinosaurs ever discovered in South America. This bird-like dinosaur, a member of the alvarezsaur family, has long been a phantom of the fossil record.
