Court grants Musharraf bail in Bhutto murder

A Pakistani special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) yesterday granted bail to former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in connection to former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination case.

The court directed Musharraf to submit two bonds of Rs 1 million each. Musharraf is accused of conspiring the murder of Benazir Bhutto in 2007 and for the 2006 killing of Baloch nationalist leader Akbar Khan Bugti.

A Pakistani Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday had extended Musharraf’s judicial remand for 14 days in connection to the judges’ detention case.
