Bucharest: Eight Romanian soldiers were killed Friday and two others injured when a military helicopter crashed during exercises in the central city of Sibiu, media reported.

The two injured victims were in serious condition and have been evacuated from the site, Mediafax quoted a spokesperson for Sibiu's emergency services as saying.
