Washington: Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee for the 2016 US election Hillary Clinton was interviewed on Saturday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about her email arrangement while she was US secretary of state, according to a campaign spokesman.

"Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary," Xinhua quoted campaign spokesman Nick Merrill as saying. "She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion," said Merrill, adding that no details of the interview would be offered.
