File Pic According to police, Rahul didn&rsquo;t want his killing bid to fail and hence he and other assailants practiced firearm shooting at a municipal gym in the area. &ldquo;We have recovered the second pistol, a cartridge, and two sharp weapons that the accused had dumped in Indrayani river after eliminating Gotya,&rdquo; said DCP (Zone III) Shahaji Umap. He added that Rahul wanted to avenge his father&rsquo;s death and was eager to end Gotya&rsquo;s terror. &ldquo;Apart with getting in touch with his friends, Rahul also contacted Gotya&rsquo;s enemies for support. They used to assemble at the gym and practice firearm shooting. Besides, the kept an eye on Gotya and used binoculars to monitor his movement,&rdquo; said Umap. When they noticed that there were less people around Gotya, they attacked and killed him, Umap added.
