United Nations: UN secretary-general's special representative for Afghanistan, Jan Kubis urged Afghans to take part in Saturday's second round of the presidential polls, media reported on Friday.

Kubis, "called on the two candidates vying for the presidency to urge their supporters to not commit fraud and respect the work of the country's independent electoral institutions in managing the election process," a UN spokesman quoted Kubis as saying Thursday.
