Authorities have assessed 43,679 buildings across Venezuela following the disaster. A traffic-light tagging system is being used to determine whether structures are safe for occupancy. Green tags indicate habitable buildings, yellow tags restrict access, and red tags identify unsafe structures that could be demolished.

Thousands of residents continue to live in temporary shelters after losing their homes. The worst-hit coastal state of La Guaira has 10,981 people in shelters, while Caracas has 6,133 displaced residents and Miranda state has 1,323.

As part of the recovery effort, authorities have delivered 287 new homes to families affected by the earthquakes. Reconstruction work continues in heavily damaged communities as officials work to restore housing and essential services.

Venezuela has received humanitarian assistance from 28 countries following the disaster. More than 2,000 tonnes of international aid are being sorted at a collection centre in Caracas before being distributed to temporary camps and affected communities.

The magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes struck Venezuela on June 24, with epicentres in Yaracuy and La Guaira states. The powerful tremors caused extensive damage across several regions, triggering one of the country's deadliest natural disasters in recent years.
