IN PICS: Minneapolis witnesses overnight protests as demonstrators take to streets

Minneapolis saw fresh protests late last night as demonstrators gathered across parts of the city, raising slogans and holding placards. Police were deployed in large numbers to monitor the situation and maintain law and order. Authorities said the situation remained under control, with no immediate reports of serious injuries, while investigations into the trigger for the protest are underway. (Pics/AFP)
