Clashes between protesters and federal immigration officers have entered a third week in Minneapolis as Immigration and Customs Enforcement expands its presence across Minnesota. The Department of Justice says it plans to pursue charges against protesters, while confirming it will not investigate the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claims more than 10,000 arrests have been made in Minneapolis, including 3,000 arrests in the last 6 weeks, as part of the administration’s mass deportation drive. Thousands of ICE agents have been deployed to the city, with reports of daily arrest quotas and rewards tied to apprehensions.
