An Israeli strike has hit an apartment building in western Gaza City, with Palestinian reports saying Hamas Gaza Brigade commander Izz al-Din al-Bayek, also known as Abu Hamza, was killed in the attack. Reports say the overnight strike targeted an apartment in the western part of the city and also killed Hamas military figure Imad Aslim, while several civilians were reportedly wounded. The strike adds to the continuing violence in Gaza, where Israeli military operations and reported airstrikes have continued despite international efforts to maintain and advance a ceasefire. WATCH
