German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has echoed External Affairs Minister Jaishankar’s views on Europe. Last year, External Affairs Minister had said “Europe has to grow out of its mindset that its problems are world problems”. Despite being a part of European Union, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz feels Jaishankar “has a point”. EAM Jaishankar’s ‘Europe-mindset’ quote has now been included in Munich Security Council 2023. S Jaishankar made these remark while taking part in GLOBSEC 2022 Bratislava Forum. In recent months, Jaishankar has been very sharp in his comment to show mirror to the West. External Affairs Minister had also lambasted Europe for questioning India’s oil imports from Russia.
