The Gulf region has witnessed another major escalation after Iran claimed it launched retaliatory strikes targeting the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and an American military installation in Kuwait, dramatically raising tensions across the West Asia. According to Iranian state media and IRGC, the operation was carried out in response to recent US military strikes. Iranian outlets also released videos they claimed showed attacks on an American military base in Kuwait, describing the installation as a base of "American terrorists." Soon after the claims emerged, air raid sirens sounded across Bahrain as authorities warned residents of an incoming threat. Explosions were reported in and around Manama, while emergency services and security agencies moved into action.
