A major breakthrough may have emerged from the latest US-Iran negotiations in Switzerland.  US Vice President JD Vance announced that Iran has agreed to allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors back into the country, a move Washington describes as a key step toward restoring oversight of Tehran's nuclear programme. Vance called the development a "major milestone" and said the talks also created new mechanisms to prevent wider regional escalation. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also described the discussions as having made "major progress."
