Israeli security forces have uncovered a suspected secret entry route into Jerusalem and arrested 36 people during an overnight operation, according to Israeli police. The passage was discovered near a-Ram and reportedly connected existing sewer infrastructure to the Beit Hanina neighbourhood in northern Jerusalem. Police said the entrance was concealed beneath a parked commercial vehicle. Border Police officers, undercover units and Israel Defense Forces troops took part in the raid. Authorities said 32 people were suspected of entering illegally, while four others were suspected of assisting them. All 36 were transferred for questioning.
