The Department of Homeland Security has launched what it calls the largest immigration enforcement operation in its history, deploying more than 2000 ICE agents across Minnesota. Federal officials say the operation is concentrated in the Twin Cities region, including Minneapolis and St Paul, and involves hundreds of investigators examining alleged fraud cases statewide. DHS confirmed that more than 1000 people have been arrested so far, including roughly 150 in Minneapolis.
