A rare and terrifying “firenado” erupted near La Sal, Utah, during the Deer Creek Fire, forcing emergency crews to retreat and triggering more evacuations. The fire, last mapped at 8,300 acres, has grown rapidly, with intense flames and a powerful vortex causing structural damage. One BLM fire engine was damaged, but no injuries were reported.
