Netanyahu has thrown a major challenge at Washington's Gaza diplomacy after rejecting the US-backed 15-point roadmap for Gaza, raising fresh questions over the future of the proposed post-war framework. The Israeli prime minister delivered the rejection during a cabinet meeting, leaving little ambiguity over Israel's position as the United States pushes its ambitious Gaza plan. Netanyahu's stance could complicate efforts to build consensus around Gaza's future governance, security arrangements and the proposed transition after the war. At the same time, the Board of Peace claims to have reached a major breakthrough with Hamas on the issue of complete disarmament. Hamas has reportedly reaffirmed support for the broader roadmap while calling on the Board of Peace to put pressure on Netanyahu to accept the proposed framework. WATCH
