Fresh protests have erupted in Pakistan as police detained several demonstrators during a solidarity rally outside the Lahore Press Club supporting activists in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). The protest followed continuing unrest linked to regional elections, with participants calling for an end to violence and backing the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC). Police dispersed the gathering and took several protesters into custody.
