Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a strong message on terrorism at the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, calling for an end to double standards and warning that terrorism cannot be used as a strategic asset. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, where leaders discussed terrorism, regional security, connectivity, trade and stability. PM Modi called for the dismantling of the entire terror ecosystem, including terror financing, recruitment, radicalisation and safe havens. He also stressed the need for a united global response against terrorism.
