West Asia is once again on edge after Israel launched fresh military strikes across southern Lebanon, raising fears that a newly signed Iran-US agreement aimed at halting military operations could quickly unravel. The renewed violence comes despite a recent Iran-US agreement intended to reduce hostilities across multiple fronts, including Lebanon.
