U.S. President Donald Trump said he would want to know what Ukraine plans to do with U.S.-made Tomahawk missiles before agreeing to supply them. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked the US to sell Tomahawks to NATO allies who would then send them to Ukraine. Tomahawk missiles have a range of 2,500 kilometers, putting Moscow within striking distance. Trump said he has “sort of made a decision” but wants clarity on where the missiles would go to avoid escalating the war. Ukraine says the missiles would deter Russian aggression and pressure Vladimir Putin to negotiate.
