Iran is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to acquire China’s CM-302 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile — a system often described as a “ship killer” due to its speed, sea-skimming flight path, and long strike range. The development comes as the United States positions major naval assets, including two aircraft carriers, within operational range of Iran. At the same time, reports suggest Russia is deepening military coordination with Tehran.
