The star cast of Mission Mangal and Batla House are all geared up for their upcoming films. The actors are on a promotion spree and are being spotted on various events promoting their respective films. Recently, Vidya Balan, who plays an important role in Mission Mangal paid a visit to Radio City in Bandra, Mumbai. Giving Vidya some sweet company was Mrunal Thakur, who plays the lead role in Batla House. The Super 30 girl opted for a yellow printed crop top and white flared jeans. Batla House is a cop drama that attempts to unravel the truth behind the 2008 encounter with alleged terrorists that took place at Batla House in Delhi.
While in Mission Mangal, Vidya essays the role of Tara Shinde, an ISRO scientist who brings her own set of tricks as a homemaker into the professional space. Mission Mangal is based on the story of India's mission to Mars which marked India's first interplanetary expedition.
Apart from Vidya, Mission Mangal also stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and Sharman Joshi. Directed by Jagan Shakti and presented by Fox Star Studios. Produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, and Fox Star Studios, the film is scheduled to land in theatres on August 15.

John Abraham also joined in co-star Mrunal Thakur. For the event, John kept his cool look in check, opting for a white t-shirt and jeans. His trademark denim jacket and black sneakers completed his look. In the movie, John will be seen essaying the character of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the operation.
Although Mission Mangal and Batla House will be clashing on Independence Day 2019, John does not feel any pressure about it. In a recent interview, when John was asked if clashing with Akshay would affect their equation, personally or professionally, he laughed and said, "Make some noise for the desi boys! What else can I say?".
Batla House director Nikkhil Advani also joined in for promotions. For the event, the Kal Ho Naa Ho director kept it simple, opting for a white t-shirt, grey cargo pants, and green jacket. We wish the Mission Mangal and Batla House teams best of luck for their films.
