According to the weather department, maximum temperatures in Delhi are likely to remain between 44 and 46 degrees Celsius till May 27, following a brief spell of cloudy weather and relatively cooler conditions earlier this week

Delhi Police stepped up security at key religious and heritage sites, including Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, following intelligence inputs about a possible terror threat. Surveillance, vehicle checks and deployment of bomb squads have been intensified.
