The Jharkhand paper leak protest has intensified, with students continuing their agitation in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC recruitment examinations. The protesters are demanding the cancellation of the 14th JPSC Civil Services Examination, a CBI probe or an independent inquiry by retired High Court judges from outside the state, along with major reforms in the recruitment process.

The alleged JPSC-JSSC recruitment scam has sparked massive protests in Jharkhand, with job aspirants continuing their agitation in Ranchi and demanding a CBI investigation into the alleged paper leak. The protest has entered its 11th day, with students rejecting the ongoing CID probe and calling for an independent inquiry. Demonstrators have also launched an indefinite hunger strike and announced a march to the Jharkhand Assembly if their demands are not met. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand CID has intensified its investigation by conducting raids across multiple districts, while Chief Minister Hemant Soren has constituted a high-level committee to engage with the protesting students. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has also demanded a CBI probe into the alleged recruitment scam.
