President Donald Trump’s “Sleepy Joe” jab at former President Joe Biden appeared to take an awkward turn during a September 28 Oval Office event, after cameras captured Trump with his eyes closed and appearing to doze off while officials discussed a planned $15 billion steel plant in Iowa. Trump had invoked his familiar “Sleepy Joe” nickname for Biden while highlighting his administration’s steel and manufacturing agenda.
