In an early morning attack, gunmen in Army uniform travelling in Maruti 800 car on Monday morning attacked Dinanagar police station in Punjab's Gurdaspur. At least three people were killed and four others injured in the suspected terror attack in Gurdaspur district.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday assured that the situation in Gurdaspur district of Punjab will be soon brought under control. The Home Minister took to twitter to share that he has spoken to Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Home Secretary LC Goyal and NSA Ajit K Doval regarding the suspected terror attack.
