The final darshan began at her Lower Parel residence at 11 AM, where fans, family members and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects. The mortal remains were kept for public viewing, allowing thousands to bid a final goodbye. Her last rites are scheduled at Shivaji Park, Mumbai, at 4 PM, with full state honours. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is expected to attend the ceremony as the nation comes together to honour her legacy.
