Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of plotting the murder of her husband during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, has been produced before the Shillong court. Married just nine days before the crime, Sonam allegedly conspired with her lover and hired contract killers to murder Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi. The chilling crime took place on May 23 in a remote hilly area, where Raja was pushed into a gorge after Sonam reportedly gave the killers a signal. Meghalaya Police launched a multi-state operation, codenamed ‘Operation Honeymoon,’ to track down the accused. Raja’s grieving family is now demanding justice as the investigation continues.
