10 March,2025 09:46 AM ISTRajasthan Congress workers staged a massive and highly charged protest outside the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, vehemently opposing the state government’s decision to suspend six Congress Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The protest was organized as a show of strength and solidarity against what Congress party leaders and supporters termed an unjust and politically motivated move by the ruling government. The protest began with a large gathering of Congress party workers, legislators, and supporters, who raised slogans and waved banners condemning the suspension. The demonstrators accused the state government of using its authority to suppress opposition voices and curtail democratic rights. Tensions ran high as the protestors demanded the immediate reinstatement of the six suspended MLAs and called for justice. In response to the growing unrest, authorities swiftly deployed a heavy police presence and barricaded the area around the Rajasthan Assembly. The police set up physical barriers to prevent the protestors from breaching the security lines and entering the premises of the Assembly.
24 February,2025 02:54 PM ISTIn a major tragedy in Jaipur’s Bhankrota area, atleast 4 were killed due to a fire that broke out due to the collision of many vehicles one after the other. While efforts are being made to douse the fire, the incident left several injured and led to the loss of lives. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited the spot in Jaipur’s Bhankrota area where massive fire broke out in the morning on December 20. He also took stock of the situation. Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa was also present in the spot. A total of 4 people have been declared dead and 35 others have sustained injuries. The fire incident occurred due to the collision of multiple vehicles near a petrol pump on the main Ajmer road.
